Looking for the full darts bar class system explained? Every AI DARTS member picks a class the first time they log in. There are 7, and each has its own darts playstyle, an element, and a legendary character from the "underside". Here are all seven, their backstories, and how to choose.
What a class is: identity and avatar, no effect on points
Your class is your identity at AI DARTS. Once chosen, the class portrait becomes your avatar and shows on the leaderboard and the TV wall in the bar. A class does not affect how many points you earn, your achievements or your rewards, so there's no wrong pick, and you can switch on the member page any time. For where the whole world comes from, read the Rabbit Hole story.
The seven classes at a glance
| Class | Element | Clan | Playstyle |
|---|---|---|---|
| Warrior | Earth | Bedrock (磐城) | Takes pressure head-on, doesn't crack after a run of misses |
| Gunner | Fire | Furnace Gang (熔爐幫) | Attacker who keeps stacking points steadily |
| Marksman | Metal | Hairline Society (分毫社) | Precision scorer, hits the same spot again and again |
| Finisher | Metal | Hairline Society (分毫社) | The key closing dart in a 01 game |
| Ranger | Water | Tide Society (潮汐會) | Rhythm player who adjusts tactics to the game |
| Assassin | Water | Tide Society (潮汐會) | Waits for a slip, then strikes |
| Sage | Wood | Ink Grove (墨林) | Endurance player, steadier the longer the game goes |
Metal and Water each have two classes. That's not a duplicate: same element, different skill direction. The Marksman handles mid-game scoring and the Finisher handles the close; the Ranger drives tactics and the Assassin waits on the opponent. These are player types that already exist in real darts.
Seven characters: the legend behind each class
Warrior · 磐 (Bedrock), Bedrock clan, Earth
A wall of a person. She was a steelwork foreman until a collapse pinned her under a beam, and she woke up with her left arm replaced by that same beam, pulled out of the rubble. When a turf needs holding, people go to her.
Gunner · 鎔 (Molten), Furnace Gang, Fire
He doesn't take cover because nothing can stop him. A demolition crew veteran who carries a mining cannon rig he modified himself. He walks slowly because he never has to run.
Marksman · 隼 (Falcon), Hairline Society, Metal
His eyes see the finish line before anyone else. A former battlefield sniper whose eyes were wrecked on a mission, replaced with a five-layer targeting implant ten times more accurate than the originals. What he aims with was never a gun, it's his eyes.
Finisher · 半面 (Half-Face), Hairline Society, Metal
The grin before he clocks out means you're out of chances. He used to run machine-game bets until his own people betrayed him in a reckoning and half his face was blown into a metal skeleton. Since then he believes in one thing: one dart tells the truth.
Ranger · 潮 (Tide), Tide Society, Water
Nobody catches her using the same weapon twice. A route-runner for ten years who reads a room faster than a map. The rules are hers, and she breaks them whenever she likes.
Assassin · 骸 (Bones), Tide Society, Water
When the skull tattoo shows up, someone's story is ending. Nobody knows her real origin, only that she lost an eye the night of the coup, and what she got back wasn't a blade but a full kit of ruthless heavy firepower. This city forces you to become something you didn't plan for.
Sage · 墨 (Ink), Ink Grove, Wood
Newcomers don't come to him for strength, they come for one sentence that keeps them alive. The city's oldest mapmaker, with temple implants that hold more memory than any hard drive. The price: he no longer remembers what his own face looked like in the surface world.
How to choose: pick by how you play
- Count-Up, you keep stacking a high score: Gunner
- Cricket, you love sweeping numbers: Marksman
- 01 games, you're steady at the close: Finisher
- You don't panic when you're behind: Warrior
- You read the game and switch tactics: Ranger
- You punish the opponent's mistakes: Assassin
- You get steadier late in the game: Sage
Or just pick the portrait you like best. Nobody says you have to match your playstyle. Not sure how the games differ? Start with how Cricket and 501 work.
