Japan's DARTSLIVE regional collectible darts: all 47 prefectures, fully collected

DARTSLIVE runs a regional collectible dart-skin program — Taiwan doesn't have anything like it yet, but the scene in Japan has run wild with it, collecting a full set across all 47 prefectures. Here's a look at a piece of Japanese darts culture Taiwan doesn't have yet, but is worth knowing about.

What are regional "fun darts"

This is a play-reward feature on DARTSLIVE3 machines, no extra payment required: the free tier needs 3 consecutive games to unlock one, Premium+ paid members need just 1 game. It only counts when playing with a card linked to your account — LIVE LABO mode doesn't count.

Every prefecture has its own design

All 47 prefectures each get a unique design tied to a local specialty: Hokkaido gets king crab, Osaka gets takoyaki (in an 8-piece box), Kyoto gets yatsuhashi, Ishikawa gets black curry katsu, Gifu gets gassho-zukuri houses, Wakayama gets nanko plums, Nagasaki gets castella cake. After the 11th round released in March 2026, all 47 prefectures were fully collected.

You can trade after collecting

Once you get a regional design, playing one match against a friend unlocks a "souvenir" version of the same design — a collect-and-trade mechanic that turns "which cities you've played darts in" into something you can actually collect and show off.

Why Taiwan doesn't have this

Honestly: AI DARTS runs on Phoenix machines, a different system from DARTSLIVE, and this program is DARTSLIVE-exclusive — Phoenix doesn't have an equivalent feature right now. This post is purely for readers curious about Japanese darts culture, not a claim that AI DARTS has this too.

To see how Phoenix's own rating system works, check the darts glossary; to come throw some darts yourself, AI DARTS runs 24-hour self-service — see here. Menu's here.
