AI DARTS now has a LINE community (a LINE OpenChat group), and to be honest, it is just a place for Taipei darts players to hang out and chat: no perks, no points, no daily promo spam. Looking for someone to throw with, want to get a group together tonight, or wondering if the bar is busy right now? Just ask in the group.
What the darts LINE community is for
- Finding people to play with: on your own and need an opponent for Cricket or 01? Shout and see who is free
- Getting a group together: after work, at the weekend or for Thursday darts night, agree a time in the group and come together
- Checking how the bar is: is it busy, is a board free? If someone is already here, they can tell you
- Meeting the regulars: say hi online first, and it is easier to start a conversation when you meet at the bar
To be clear: there are no perks in the group (for now)
The community currently has no discounts or member perks. It is just chat. Points, achievements and vouchers all live in the member system at pass.aidarts.club; see how our membership works. For anything that needs a reply from the bar, like directions or saving a table, message our official LINE account instead of only posting in the community.
How to join the AI DARTS LINE community
- On your phone, tap this invite link. It opens in LINE
- Set the display name you want to use in the community and tap Join
- Already a member? Log in at pass.aidarts.club, tap the "我的" (My page) tab at the bottom, and you will find a "加入社群" (Join community) button near the top
In a LINE community you can use a different name and profile picture from your main LINE account, so you do not have to show your real name.
No Chinese? You are welcome too
You do not need to speak Chinese to join. Just post in English. Playing darts together does not take much language anyway: find someone, come in, take turns on the boards, and after one game you are friends. What to say in the Taipei darts group the first time
No need for a long intro. Saying what you want is fastest, for example:
- "Anyone up for Cricket around 10 tonight?"
- "Is it busy at the bar right now? Thinking of coming to practise."
- "Just started playing. Anyone going Thursday who could show me the ropes?"
If nobody answers straight away, that is normal; people check when they have time. If you would rather just turn up and try your luck, we are open 24 hours.
